This Privacy Policy explains how SEO AI Audits (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use https://seoaiaudits.com. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

• URLs you submit. When you run an audit, we process the website address you enter in order to crawl and analyze it.
• Technical data & approximate location. We log your IP address and basic request data to operate the service, prevent abuse, and apply rate limits. When you start an audit, we record only the country it was requested from, as reported by our CDN provider, Cloudflare. No other service is used to look it up, your IP address is not stored with the audit, and we never record a precise location.
• Email addresses. We ask for your email address when you want a report emailed to you when it’s ready, sign up for a monitor, ask us to re-audit your site after you fix issues, or request a link to your dashboard. Someone who runs an AI-readiness monitor can also add a teammate’s address to receive its reports: that address gets one confirmation email and no reports unless it is confirmed, and it is removed if its owner unsubscribes or the monitor’s owner removes it. We use addresses only to send these emails and to show reports and monitors on your dashboard, and we never sell them or use them for marketing. An address given for a report is deleted with that report after 90 days; a monitor’s address is deleted when the monitor is deleted.
• Slack or Discord webhook addresses. If you add one to a monitor, we keep it encrypted and use it only to post that monitor’s alerts to your channel. The alerts link to public pages only. The address is deleted when you remove it or delete the monitor.
• Usage data. Our own cookieless counter keeps daily totals of page views and visits by country, and of report actions (PDF and Excel exports, sharing a report link, copying the seal code). The totals contain no IP address, cookie, identifier, page address or browser details, and nothing from the counter is sent to Google. With your consent, Google Analytics also collects aggregated usage data (see below).

How we use information

We use the information to provide and improve the audit service, generate your report, maintain security and prevent abuse, and understand overall usage. Audit results may be cached temporarily to improve performance and are not sold.

Cookies and third-party services

We use the following third-party services, which may set cookies or collect data under their own privacy policies:

• Google AdSense. We may display ads served by Google. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings.
• Google PageSpeed Insights. Used to measure performance and Core Web Vitals for the sites you audit.
• Google Analytics (GA4). With your consent, we use Google Analytics to measure aggregate, non-personal traffic. It loads only after you accept cookies via our consent banner — not before.
• Cloudflare. Our CDN and security provider. Every request to the site passes through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and abuse and tells us the country a request comes from. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Our Chrome extension

The SEO AI Audits extension for Chrome asks for one permission, “active tab”: it can read the address of the page you are on only when you click its icon. It then opens our free Instant SEO Snapshot for that address, so the address is sent to seoaiaudits.com, scanned and handled like any other free-tool check described here. The extension stores nothing in your browser, reads nothing on the page itself, and sends nothing else anywhere.

Data retention

Guest audit data — the submitted URL and the crawled pages and issue details — is automatically deleted after 90 days. We keep a minimal summary of each audit — the domain, its scores and crawl statistics, the date it ran, and the country the audit was requested from (never an IP address) — so that shared report links and score seals placed on your own site keep working. Summaries have no set expiry, but if a site’s owner asks us to, we remove that site’s audits and summaries (its report links then stop working and its seals show as expired). Report pages are public links — anyone with the link can open one — but we do not submit them to search engines. Cached results expire within hours. Visit and report-action counts are kept only as daily totals. Logs are retained for a limited period for security and operations.

Your choices

You can decline non-essential cookies through your browser settings and opt out of personalized ads via the links above. You may contact us to ask about data we hold related to your use of the service.

Children’s privacy

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
