How we use cookies

Short version: SEO AI Audits needs a few essential cookies to work, and — only if you accept — Google Analytics so we can improve the tools. No account is required, and nothing that tracks you loads before you opt in. We also count visits with our own cookieless counter, which stores nothing on your device and can’t tell who you are.

Strictly necessary

Needed for the site to work. We store your cookie choice (so we don’t ask again) and short-lived data to run an audit and keep the page functioning. These are always on — they set no marketing profile and don’t track you across sites.

Visit counter (no cookies)

Our own server keeps simple daily totals: page views and visits by country (a visit is counted when its first page loads), and report actions — PDF and Excel exports, sharing a report link, and copying the seal code. The country comes from our CDN provider, Cloudflare. The counter sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device, and the totals contain no IP address, identifier, page address or browser details. That’s why it runs without the cookie banner, and your choice there doesn’t affect it. Nothing from it is sent to Google or to advertisers.

Analytics (consent-gated)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools and pages people use, so we can improve them. These cookies (e.g. _ga) load ONLY after you accept them on the cookie banner — Google Analytics never loads before you consent.

Advertising (only if shown, with consent)

The tools are free and, to help keep them that way, we may display ads. If and when we do, advertising partners may set cookies — again, only after you’ve accepted. Decline and you’ll still get the full, free tool.

Your choices

You control non-essential cookies from the banner shown on your first visit — choose Decline to keep only the strictly-necessary ones, or Accept to allow analytics. You can also clear cookies or block them in your browser settings at any time, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
