TechShuBot privacy notice
This notice explains how TechShu uses the business contact details that TechShuBot collects from UK company websites and the Companies House register.
Who we are
TechShu. Contact: [email protected]. TechShuBot is run for TechShu.
What we collect, and where from
- From your company’s public website: your name and job title if the site lists them, your work email address and phone number, and the company’s contact details and social media pages.
- From the Companies House register: the company’s name, number, type, status and registered town, and its current directors’ names.
We collect nothing else about you, and we don’t keep your website’s text.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
To contact companies about TechShu’s digital services. Our legal basis is legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): contacting businesses about services relevant to their work, using details they publish for business contact. Our first message to you will say where we got your details.
Who sees it
TechShu’s sales team, and the email and customer-management tools it uses to contact you. We never sell it or share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
TechShuBot’s system deletes collected details 90 days after collecting them. TechShu’s sales team keeps its records of a conversation for 12 months after the last contact, or less if you ask. If you ask not to be contacted, we keep only your website or email address, on a permanent do-not-contact list, so we never contact you again.
Your rights
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or limit how we use them.
- You can object to direct marketing at any time, and we will stop.
Email [email protected]; we reply within one month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Automated decisions
None. Leads are sorted by how complete their contact details are, but a person decides whether to get in touch.
